Ullman Sails Spain is proud to announce the construction of a brand new loft facility, designed to support continued growth and significantly expand the team’s capacity for high-performance sailmaking and superyacht work.

The decision to move forward with a new loft was driven by the long-term goal of owning a permanent base rather than continuing to rent. 

The new facility will be 900m² in total and has been designed to meet the growing needs of modern sail development, production, and service, especially within the superyacht sector.

The layout includes:

• A dedicated superyacht sail storage area of approximately 300m²
• A sail loft table floor of approximately 350m²
• A total sailmaking work area of approximately 450m²
• A large-format working table measuring 12.5m wide by 28m long, allowing Ullman Sails Spain to handle superyacht sails comfortably and efficiently

In addition, the new loft will feature:

• A large sail storage space
• Modern office areas
• An outdoor sail washing area
• A dedicated composites workshop area for specialized work and repair

With double the work space, this move marks a major upgrade compared to the previous loft, which measured 400m² in total, with a 200m² sail loft floor. The new facility doubles overall capacity, supporting faster turnaround times, improved workflow, and increased space for large-scale projects.

The new loft will feature fully transparent glass walls, providing natural light throughout the entire facility. This design choice will create a bright, open, and modern working environment for both the Ullman Sails Spain team and visiting clients.

Sustainability is also part of the long-term plan, with the loft expected to be powered by solar panels by the end of the year, reducing energy consumption and supporting a more environmentally responsible operation.

Construction is already underway, with the loft expected to be fully completed by the end of February.

This expansion represents a major milestone for Ullman Sails Spain and reflects the team’s ongoing commitment to delivering world-class sailmaking, service, and innovation for performance sailing and superyacht clients throughout Europe.
