Fresh off the Factory Floor

As Voyage Yachts completes Hull 17 of the Voyage 590, Ullman Sails complements hers with a newly crafted sail inventory. The two together are a perfect match. The boat looks outstanding, the sails look incredible, and side by side they create one of the sleekest profiles you will see on the water.

The Voyage 590 already carries some serious credentials. She earned Cruising World’s 2022 Best Charter Boat of the Year Award, and the excitement around Hull 17 launching feels just as strong as it did for the very first one. Voyage really hit the sweet spot with this design, and every new hull reminds us why the model stands out.

Hull 17 completed her first test sail on 27 November in typical early summer Cape Town conditions. Overcast skies, a steady breeze, cool air, and just the right amount of energy in the bay. It was the perfect opportunity to watch her new sail wardrobe working exactly the way it was designed to.

Her square top mainsail, boasting over 100 square meters of sail area, powered her up smoothly and confidently, giving this big girl the drive she needs. Paired with a furling genoa, the handling was simple, clean, and very charter-friendly, which is exactly what Voyage aims for with the 590. Even with little sunlight, the black cross-cut Dacron sails looked striking on the water.

Voyage Yachts has always focused on making cruising as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. Hull 17 follows that idea perfectly. With six equally appointed ensuite cabins, everyone onboard gets their own proper holiday space. Combine that with the generous flybridge, foredeck lounges, and the flowing interior layout, and she is built for people who want to relax in style.

With her commissioning nearly complete, Hull 17 will soon make her way to the British Virgin Islands to join the Voyage Charters fleet. It won’t be long before she’s carrying guests through the islands and showing off her full potential in some of the world’s most iconic cruising grounds.
